Rusutsu Ski Resort Ski Holiday Planning Guide + Where To Stay

Couple waiving in ski resort in Japan, Rusutsu

A Little Introduction

Welcome to The FUN Travel Blog!

I write light-hearted, personal stories about my adventures and experiences. No top 10 lists or ‘ultimate guides’ here 🙂

I also make fun videos – see below!

I love dancing, my longboard, and wearing the most colourful clothes I can find.

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram!

  • 🛹 Had so much fun experimenting with the Insta360 Luna Pro camera while skating, it did such a great job! Why I love this camera: - incredible auto-tracking feature - detachable screen/remote so I can check myself 🤣 - compact/removable mini tripod stand - iLog capture mode for greater flexibility for colour grading - so small it fits in my day bag easily 🛒 Use code SMALLCRAZY for a free Black Mist Filter with your Luna Pro purchase! Or click the link in my bio :) #lunapro gifted by @insta360 [how I film myself skating, longboard dancing] #insta360lunapro
  • What’s a 42 year old doing a skate park for the first time in her life? >> having a lot of fun is what #womenover40 #womenwhoskate #childfreewomen
  • ✅ Getting licked by goat 10/10 ❌ Getting licked by dog 0/10
  • I’ve apparently lost the ability to accurately assess speed..
  • ❄️🏂🇯🇵 These are the resorts i love and will be visiting again in 2027: - @nisekograndhirafu / @hanazononiseko - @rusutsuresort_official - @getokogen ❤️ - @akakurakanko_ski_sky - @madarao.ski [ski snowboard trip to Japan, winter in Japan, Hokkaido, japow]

  • 🍺 Kiliani Beer Festival in Würzburg, Germany dates back almost 1000 years! 🎉 I’ve been to both Oktoberfest and Kiliani and while both are super fun, Kiliani felt like a much more authentic German beer festival. A special amber beer brewed with local well water is available only during this festival! Since it takes place in Bavaria’s Franconia region, Franconian wines are also served 🍷 Highly recommended Kiliani for the best vibes and also - no long queues, extortionate prices or crazy tourist crowds! 🗓️ Save the dates for 2027: Kiliani will take place 2-18 July Tip: Monday nights are a local favourite 🙌 Thanks @europeinsiders @europebeertours @mytraveliciouslife for this amazing experience!! [Kiliani Volksfest, alternative to oktoberfest, German beer festival, Johnny däpp]
  • 10/10 effort for this proposal last night - congrats to the happy couple!! (@alexandracortereeal) Drone show by @drone.luz 📍 Porto, Portugal (Gaia side of the river)
